The island is a paradise for hundreds of rare birds, including 91 local species of birds and 50 migratory birds. A 1.5-hour motorboat ride or a 30-minute speedboat trip from Alappuzha is a wonderful experience in Pathiramanal Islands that surrounded by Vembanad Lake, stretching from Alappuzha to Kochi and the Kayamkulam Lake, Pathiramanal is reachable only by boat.

Ponnumthuruthu

Ponnumthuruthu also is known as Golden Island is an island which is located in Varkala of Trivandrum district in Kerala. The place is known for its natural beauty and wonderful sunsets, the island will surely give you lovely memories to cherish. Ponnumthuruthu Island is easily accessible by boat from the makeshift jetty at the Nedunganda Village. Dharmadam

Dharmadam is a small island which is situated 5 km away from the Thalassery of Kannur district. It is a spectacular sight and Covered with coconut palms and the dense bush is a wonderful view from the Muzhappilangad seaside. This island is situated at 100 meters from the mainland and the best time to go during low tides. The island is believed to be formed as a result of lateritic rock projection between two arms of the Anjarakkandy river and the Arabian sea.
